Less than a week after Nicki Minaj released her Ariana Grande collaboration "Bed," Grande has returned the favor and dropped her own new single "The Light Is Coming."
The track, co-written and produced by Pharrell Williams, arrived late Tuesday night. It's the latest preview of Grande's upcoming album Sweetener, which she confirmed tonight will be released on Aug. 17.
Minaj and Grande's collaborative history goes back a few years. Minaj appeared on Grande's 2016 single "Side to Side" and before that, they worked together alongside Jessie J on the 2014 single "Bang Bang."
This is technically already Grande's third song released this month, including "Bed" as well as her appearance on Troye Sivan's new single "Dance to This," which arrived last Wednesday.
