British singer Amber-Simone has released a simmering new single called "Mountains."
Following her infectious previous track "Taught Me Better," this latest cut is an absolute gem. Produced by rising U.K. duo Shy Luv, the track rather effortlessly flaunts the London-based artist's unique, spellbinding vocals.
"'Mountains' came from having been through a rough few months dealing with a combination of difficulties in music life and also in personal relationships," Amber-Simone said of the new track. "It was one of those rare cases where a song pretty much writes itself. My best work comes from a place where I ignore other people's expectations and run with what I genuinely feel – this was one of those songs."
Ultimately, she says the song is a reminder of her "optimism" in the middle of "one of my most difficult times."
