Belle and Sebastian have returned for the weekend, with a brand new song "We Were Beautiful."

The previously unannounced track arrived early Friday. It was recorded in Glasgow, Scotland, and produced alongside Brian McNeil.

The new track is not a complete surprise, as frontman Stuart Murdoch had recently suggested new music may be on the way. It comes as the band also has a number of upcoming live shows scheduled, including Panorama this weekend in New York.
