Before his debut album Garren, LP arrives this Friday, rising artist Garren Sean has released an invigorating new single "Finer Things."

It's a standout cut from the Bay Area musician, who previously produced and co-wrote Chance the Rapper’s "Smoke Break" and produced Joey Purp’s "Photobooth." And according to Sean himself, the meaning is rather straightforward.

"'Finer Things' is about enjoying the wave and spending money when you have it, but staying real at the same time," he told Fader. "The story is being told to a significant other who is afraid that more success will start to change your idea of what's important in life. I made the beat a whole year before I wrote to it for my album. At first I approached it like it could be a hot rap song on somebody else's project, but ultimately I knew I needed to do my thing on it."

While the full album is out on the 28th, "Finer Things" can be heard below.
