Nashville artist Troy Akers (aka Bandit Heart) is back with a tender new single "COMA."

The emotional new offering is officially out on Friday, but Akers is premiering the track a day early on Variance.

"This song is about a dream I had last year in the middle of summer," the singer says of the new song. "It's one of those dreams where you haven't thought about a person for a long while, but suddenly there you are and she's right in front of you. Even now, the lyrics to the verses are very real. Those kinds of things never leave you no matter how much time, no matter who comes after."
