Less than a month until the release of their new album Heartworms, The Shins have shared a new song "Mildenhall," which premiered Thursday on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show.
As we previously mentioned, the new record, which is frontman James Mercer's fifth under the Shins moniker, is said to include his "most diverse lyrical palette." The new song "Mildenhall," in particular, is largely autobiographical.
Unlike with 2012's Port of Morrow, Mercer wrote the entire album himself and also produced the full record minus "So Now What," which was produced by Richard Swift.
Heartworms is out March 10 on Aural Apothecary/Columbia Records, but "Mildenhall" can be heard below.
