While he continues performing a stretch of North American shows, Gary Clark Jr. has shared a new song "Take Me Down," his contribution to the upcoming film Deepwater Horizon.

The film, which centers on the aftermath of the 2010 oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, stars Mark Wahlberg, Kurt Russell, Gina Rodriguez, Kate Hudson and John Malkovich. It is due in theaters on Sept. 30, while the soundtrack is out on Sept. 23.
