After a lengthy run supporting their 2013 album More Than Just a Dream, Fitz and the Tantrums have returned with a fresh new single "HandClap."
The buoyant track is the first preview from the group's new self-titled album, which will be released June 10 on Elektra Records.
"HandClap is a primal tale of love and lust, a call to arms in the late hours of the night," said lead singer Michael Fitzpatrick of the new song. "It's the X-rated version of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind happening on a dance floor."
The band has also announced a new summer tour in support of the record. Tickets go on sale next Friday (April 1) at 10 a.m. local time, although a pre-sale begins Wednesday.
