After teasing new music and announcing a number of tour dates earlier this year, Anthony Gonzalez (aka M83) on Tuesday confirmed his new album Junk will arrive on April 8 via Mute Records.

Coming nearly five years after the release of 2011's Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming, this record will not feature keyboardist-vocalist Morgan Kibby but Gonzalez has previously promised many "unexpected guests."

Update: Gonzalez has shared the album's first track, a dazzling and woozy new song "Do It, Try It."
