Top Dawg Entertainment has the spotlight on the cover of the new issue of Billboard.

TDE president Dave Free spoke about the label's success, further highlighted by ScHoolboy Q's likely No. 1 debut next week: "Today is probably more important than when good kid, m.A.A.d city came out ... this is our proving ground to show the world that wasn't a fluke—that TDE isn't just one artist. Kendrick isn't the only one in our stable that's going to blow up."

According to Billboard, New Jersey-based female singer-songwriter SZA's long-expected debut will arrive later this year, as will projects from Jay Rock and Ab-Soul. The magazine also notes that "Free thinks the long-awaited debut from Black Hippy—the supergroup featuring Lamar, Q, Rock and Ab-Soul—is likely to appear in 2014; Tiffith indicates that TDE is planning to release a new Lamar album this coming September, too."
