After teasing fans for months, Explosions in the Sky have finally shared new music in the form of "Disintegration Anxiety."

The track, which debuted Monday, serves as the band's first preview of their new album The Wilderness, which will arrive April 1 on Temporary Residence Ltd.

Coming five years after 2011's Take Care, Take Care, Take Care, the new record is described as a "bold, experimental work" and the band's "most ambitious songs to date."

Wilderness was co-produced by the band and their longtime collaborator John Congleton, marking their first album featuring a third-party producer.
