Rising New York duo The Midnight Hollow has shared their new single "Walls," which showcases a slightly different sound from some of their previous material.
Multi-instrumentalist/vocalist Spencer Draeger and drummer Andrew Segreti this time go for a very breezy confection almost in the same vein as The National's recent work.
Draeger described it as "a breath of fresh air" for the band to create a lighter cut, explaining that "it feels good to pull open the curtains and color up the darkness.”
Listen to "Walls" below (via Paste) and catch the band at Rough Trade Records this Saturday.
