While television theme songs have become less prominent in recent years, ABC's new comedy Fresh Off the Boat is an exception, featuring original music from Danny Brown.

Based off chef Eddie Huang's memoir of the same name, the series about immigrants living in America premiered on Wednesday night to 7.9 million viewers and a 2.5 rating in the coveted 18-49 demographic, securing its place as the second-best comedy premiere of the season behind only fellow ABC hit Black-ish.
