Portland folk-country rockers Blitzen Trapper have shared a new song "Lonesome Angel," a wonderful preview of the band's forthcoming eighth studio album All Across This Land.

The record will arrive Oct. 2 on Vagrant Records, just over two years after the release of their previous album, 2013's VII.

Said to be inspired by the group's life on the road, the new track can be heard below.
