After catching our attention earlier this year with his fragile single "Run," Bronx newcomer James Scott has released another stunner simply titled "Truth," this time accompanied by b*star & Jay Valera.

It's an impeccable offering from the emerging alt-R&B crooner, who says the song is inspired by stressful relationships that don't make you happy and knowing when to walk away.

"I'd rather be alone than to be with you," he sings confidently while also expressing disappointment, adding: "And I know that's a shame but I'm telling the truth."

Produced by Brandon Niles, the intoxicating cut serves as the latest preview of Scott's upcoming project Forest, which is currently in the works.
