As Oakland's Jackson Phillips (aka Day Wave) continues his rise, the singer-songwriter has shared a delightful new track "You Are Who You Are."

It's the b-side to Phillips' upcoming Come Home Now 7-inch, which is being released Nov. 6 on House Arrest Records.

"Sometimes you need to accept people for who they are, rather than hoping they’ll be who you want them to be or do what you want them to do," he said of the track. "‘You Are Who You Are' is somewhat of a reminder to myself to accept or embrace other people’s flaws instead of trying to change them."
