As fans continue waiting for James Blake's forthcoming album, the British singer-songwriter has shared a gripping rendition of Simon & Garfunkel's "The Sounds of Silence," which he dedicated to a friend who passed away on New Year's Eve.

Blake debuted the track Thursday night during his BBC Radio 1 residency, in which he was also joined by Bon Iver's Justin Vernon.
