As Adele is expected to release her long-awaited new album next month, the British singer unexpectedly teased a portion of new music during a commercial break in the middle of Sunday's episode of The X Factor in the U.K.

While there was no official word from Adele's team as of Sunday, One Republic's Ryan Tedder—who has worked on the songstress' upcoming LP—seemingly confirmed the brief spot consisting of only music and lyrics is indeed authentic.
