In the latest chapter of the craziness that is 2016 presidential cycle, Republican candidate Dr. Ben Carson has recorded a rap ad explicitly targeted at young black voters.
ABC News reported Thursday morning the $150,000 ad buy will find the clip, titled "Freedom," running for two weeks in a number of strategic markets, such as Miami; Atlanta; Houston; Detroit; Memphis; Birmingham, Ala.; and Jackson, Miss.

The one-minute spot features portions of Carson's speeches weaved together with verses from Christian rapper Aspiring Mogul, who is a devout supporter of the GOP hopeful.
The Carson campaign believes that if matched up against Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton on election day, 20 percent of the black vote would be enough to win the White House, according to Carson spokesman Doug Watts, who said this new ad "reaches [black voters] on a level they appreciate and follow and see if we can attract their consciousness about the election."
