Just in time for Thanksgiving, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin appeared on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show on Thursday, debuting a beautiful new track "Everglow."

It's the latest preview of the band's upcoming album A Head Full of Dreams, which is out Dec. 4. And it's a clearly personal song.

"Whether it's a loved one or a situation or a friend or a relationship that's finished, or someone's passed away," Martin explained about the track. "I was thinking about, after you've been through the sadness of something, you also get this everglow. That's what it's about."

Featuring guest vocals from Martin's ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow, "Everglow" can be heard below.
