Following news earlier this month that they'll open for Ellie Goulding on her upcoming tour, Los Angeles-based trio LANY has shared a bittersweet but irresistible new single "Kiss."

The track, a reflection of a scorned lover, precedes the band's upcoming Make Out EP, which will be released this Friday on Polydor Records.

"This song is about liars," said vocalist Paul Klein. "It's about people who don't have the balls to tell you the legitimate truth. They'll water it down, beat around the bush, spin it whatever way they have to. They're probably scared to tell you what really happened or how they really feel because they 'love you.' But they actually just love themselves."
