Foo Fighters have released their latest album But Here We Are, which arrived today via Roswell/RCA Records.

Unlike the band's previous 10 full-lengths, this latest one comes in the aftermath of the shocking death of drummer Taylor Hawkins, who died last year. And on much of this new record, the emotion is strikingly clear.

It's poignant and raw, reflective of Hawkins' passing as well as that of frontman Dave Grohl's late mother Virginia. The album was co-produced by Greg Kurstin alongside the band themselves.

As we've previously noted, despite the tremendous loss, Foo Fighters aren't slowing down. They're back on the road this spring and summer with an extensive global tour while headlining a number of big-name festivals.
