We know there's always a lot of music on Fridays, but one of our favorites this week is the debut self-titled album from strongboi.

It's the first proper project from Berlin-based duo Alice Phoebe Lou and Ziv Yamin, who are best friends and longtime collaborators. The seven-track album, which is a genre-bending dose of magic for your weekend, includes the previously released singles "Fool Around," "Cold" and "Unconditional" as well as the new highlight "Flame."

The band's origins included a very lo-fi vision of Casio keyboards, but it has evolved into fully formed project, as evidenced by today's release. They first released a trio of singles back in 2020, all of which were recorded in a Berlin living room, before they eventually built a studio of their own in East Berlin, where they ultimately recorded this album.
