Handsome Ghost continues to string us along with new music, and on Friday, the duo shared their newest song "Figure 8," which keeps us captivated.

It's a menacing track, which follows their recent songs "Heaven Isn't Long for You" and "Neptune." The new music comes as singer-songwriter Tim Noyes and multi-instrumentalist/producer Eddie Byun (both of whom make up Handsome Ghost) are planning to release a new full-length album next summer.

The ominous offering is based on a fictional day with Elliott Smith. Inspired by Smith’s songwriting style, “Figure 8” pays homage to the late singer's final album, which was released in 2000.
