It might not be Friday yet, but that doesn't matter because Friday Pilots Club's new I Love You, Robot Superstar! EP just dropped, and we're loving it.

The six-song project arrived Thursday, and it includes the band's previously released standouts "Hot Mess" and "Better With," as well as the new song "Poison or Patience," a collaboration with pop artist Oston.

"In an era of oversharing on the internet; where we are applauded and rewarded for airing out our most personal traumas; where careers are built on the backs of your personal willingness to let the world into your life; we are all taunted to become the robot superstar,” says the band's Drew Polovick.

“Wrestling with the catch 22 of being so unfeeling in order to be OK with your deepest feelings being broadcast to complete strangers, I Love You, Robot Superstar! is both a personal mantra and social commentary on exactly what it takes to 'make it' in today’s world."
