Tom A. Smith is continuing his rise this weekend with the release of his new single "Never Good Enough."

The breathtaking, confessional new track arrived Friday, and it follows his recent standout "Could I Live With Being Fake," which was released earlier this year. It comes at a big moment for the emerging 18-year-old artist, who earned a spot on Elton John's Hyde Park show along with performances at Glastonbury and other fests. The song precedes Smith's new EP2 coming Aug. 5.

“I think EP2 is a really nice progression from EP1," says Smith, adding: “'Never Good Enough' was our final pick when we were deciding which songs to record and wasn’t thought of as a potential single. As soon as it went into the studio it became this monster especially when the saxophone appeared on it. So grateful to Alex from Fat White Family for recreating my vision on the Sax. It’s arguably my favourite song now.”
