Coming after the long weekend, perhaps this week has been a bit of a drudge.

Well, SG Lewis is here with not one but two new songs just in time for this coming weekend. On Tuesday, the producer shared his new songs "Missing You" and "Something About Your Love," both of which are out now as a double A-side single via Astralwerks.

The new music shows a distinct, '70s and '80s influence to Lewis' new chapter, as he channels a bustling, underground club energy, while also leaning into the Daft Punk funk as evidenced on "Something."

"Conceptually, it felt like the perfect introduction," says Lewis of the new sounds of the "Missing You" narrative. "It’s a story about temptation and dwindling fear. Your eyes are wandering.” He adds of the latter track: “It’s no secret I’m a massive Daft Punk fan. It’s the closest thing I’ve ever made to a tribute to them. I was listening to Discovery a lot, and there’s a specific technique to it. I chopped up the sample of these seventies keys and drums. It came together easily. Lyrically, It’s a pure confession of admiration for someone. It’s the perfect contrast to ‘Missing You.'"
