Yxngxr1 in 'BMW' video

As rising U.K. artist Yxngxr1 continues a steady rise, his newly released album Teenage Motel provides further proof of his star power.

The infectious, 14-track record arrived Friday, and it's loaded with earworms, including "BMW," "Night of Your Life," "Call Me If U Want," "Sweatshirt," "Tell Me If I Stayed Too Long" and the Morgan Reese-assisted "Nice Guy," which arrived last month.

"The loose idea is two people fall in love at a motel, but they realise it’s not going to work out,” says Yxngxr1 of the album. “They live fucking hundreds of miles away from each other and probably can’t keep it up. There’s a sad ending, but you could still listen to it and think ‘that could be me.’”

In addition to an accompanying video for "BMW," the new music follows a rapid influx of music from Yxngxr1, who released his debut Childhood Dreams in 2019 and has shared a handful of projects since.
