After releasing his impressive single "Over Everything" earlier this year, newcomer Zach Taylor (aka Dreamer Boy) is back with his new single "Jumpshot!"

The breezy new track is a sentimental ode to good friends and good times, a summer-ready track recorded at the very beginning of the pandemic. It's joined by a DIY-style video directed by Adam Alonzo and Taylor himself.

According to Taylor, the track is inspired by his favorite pastime (sports) and the 2020 Chicago Bulls docu-series The Last Dance, and it's also meant to be a sort of time capsule to capture life during the pandemic.

“We would play a game and after catching our breaths, say, ‘Run it back,’” he says of memories playing basketball with friends. “We existed outside space and time for those games. This song is about what true friendship can feel like in the wake of turbulent change.”
