Today, we've got new music from Grant Widmer and Ted Joyner (together known as Generationals).

The New Orleans-based duo are following up their 2019 album Reader As Detective with a new EP called ILEANA, which consists of four gorgeous new tracks, showcasing the pair with a refreshed sense of freedom and confidence.

Standout cut “Lost Cities” was the first track to come together. “There were so many versions of that song that I'd almost given up on that track,” says Joyner of the song. “But on one day, pieces of five different demos all collapsed together and became that song. When it comes to writing, you don't get a lot of days like that where everything falls into place and makes sense.”

Adds Widmer: "The trajectory of how we’ve gotten to where we are is knowing how to use our voices and how to arrange songs better. We feel more confident in what we do seeing Ted grow as a singer and songwriter to something better than we had before is amazing.”
