Last year, at the start of the pandemic, I created a playlist called "Songs for the Quarantine: A playlist for social-distancing."
"Maybe you're feeling anxious or worried about what happens next," I said at the time, adding: "At least in my lifetime, I don't remember experiencing anything like what's going on right now."
That was truly an understatement. But 18 months later, there's still so much uncertainty in the world. Everyone is racing to "get back to normal," if there is such a thing. But maybe you're not there yet. Or maybe you just want to jam. I hear you.
That's why I made a new playlist. It's called "Good Vibes for Strange Times: A playlist for getting back to normal." It's a selection of 92 songs I've handpicked. If you have eclectic music taste like I do, maybe you'll find something you enjoy. Songs for sulking, for raging, for dancing, for turning up, and everything in between.
It's worth noting, almost all of these songs were released this year. And some are directly inspired by the energy of the past year and a half.
