Great new music continues to come from down under as Melbourne's Olive Amun has released his new single "Deadweight."

The Aussie newcomer has been steadily rising with his debut Don't Leave Yet EP earlier this year, and now he's continuing to build momentum with this new offering, which showcases a sound hovering somewhere between alternative and hip-hop, with influences from the likes of Dominic Fike and Mac Miller clearly on display.

"I wanted it to feel like a Tarantino movie," says Amun. "I want people to like it but I want them to like it because it’s rough and sour and makes you a little uncomfortable."

According to the 22-year-old artist, the song is inspired by a mix of real relationships but also some "dark fantasies."
