The trend continues of albums turning up a year later than expected.
Today, Drake has finally released his album Certified Lover Boy. He confirmed earlier this week it would indeed arrive on Friday (Sept. 3), but the record was first announced more than a year ago.
Much like Kanye West's Aug. 29 arrival DONDA just days before, Drizzy's streaming-era friendly, 21-track album is stacked with guest features from the likes of JAY-Z, Travis Scott, Lil Wayne, Future, Young Thug, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Kid Cudi, Rick Ross, Ty Dolla $ign, Project Pat and more.
There are also some hidden gems, such as a spoken verse from Nicki Minaj on "Papi's Home, while JAY-Z is credited on "N 2 Deep" and Charlotte Day Wilson, who doesn't appear on the album otherwise, is listed as a co-writer on "Fair Trade."
