If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power is here.

Halsey's new album arrived Friday, and it's a stunner. Following weeks of teasing without a single released in advance, only further building anticipation, it is finally out in the world in full. It features 13 songs written by Halsey, while produced by none other than Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, marking the pair's first time producing for another artist outside of their work together in Nine Inch Nails and on numerous film and television scores.

For Halsey, this is a landmark moment, following a whirlwind career which has already produced three albums. It also comes literally just weeks after the singer gave birth to a baby, who is featured prominently on the artwork for If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power.

And while Halsey's previous record, 2020's Manic, slipped past the Recording Academy sans a single Grammy Award nomination, something tells us that won't be the case this time around.
