Over the weekend, newcomer rum.gold shared his new song "Greed."

The velvet track comes just days before the Brooklyn artist releases his debut album Thicker Than Water, which is out Friday (June 25). The record is candidly written against the backdrop of so much of the raw emotion of the last year, from the pandemic to the Black Lives Matter protests.

Of the music, rum. says: "This album is about my chosen family, and my journey to understanding how lucky I am to have been able to choose my family, and be chosen by them."
