With his new album Grapefruit Season on the way this summer, James Vincent McMorrow has shared another taste in the form of "Paradise."

The bubbly new track is further proof of McMorrow's expanding sound, as he navigates more playful territory, with the help of a children's choir, while still wading into melancholic waters, reflective of a moment of pretending everything is fine when it really isn't.

“It needed to feel naive and sincere," recalls McMorrow of the song, which he co-produced alongside Paul Epworth and Lil Silva. "I’d assumed this song wouldn’t connect with a bunch of kids, but when they arrived in the studio they had learned every single line and couldn’t stop singing it. It reminded me why we make music: it’s not a selfish endeavour, it’s for everyone.”
