Muse performs at Summerfest 2026, by Dan DeSlover

Summerfest wrapped up its 2026 edition with one final three-day stretch of music along Milwaukee's lakefront, bringing another wildly eclectic mix of global superstars, rock veterans, rising artists and familiar favorites to Henry Maier Festival Park from July 2-4.

Thursday opened the final weekend with one of its most stacked lineups, led by British rock giants Muse, who took over the American Family Insurance Amphitheater. Across the festival grounds, the day offered something for nearly every kind of music fan, with R&B star Ella Mai, reggae hitmaker Sean Paul, pop-punk favorites All Time Low and '90s rock mainstays Gin Blossoms among the highlights. KennyHoopla, Matt Hansen, girlfriends, Blondshell, Julia Wolf and Temper City added even more variety to a packed opening day.

Friday kept the momentum going with breakout pop star Alex Warren headlining the amphitheater, while Spoon brought its unmistakable indie-rock catalog to the festival. The day also stretched across generations and genres, with performances from Stephen Marley, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Chase McDaniel and rising Oklahoma singer-songwriter Ken Pomeroy, among others.

By Saturday, Summerfest was ready to go out with a bang. Jelly Roll led the festival's Fourth of July finale, with Three 6 Mafia, country standout Sam Barber and rock and metal heavyweights Gene Simmons and Kerry King among those helping close out the nine-day festival. Elsewhere, the final day included everything from the nostalgic party anthems of Tag Team to performances by KT Tunstall, Jonah Kagen and plenty more.

That kind of range has been the defining thread throughout Summerfest's three weekends. The final stretch alone moved effortlessly from Muse and Ella Mai to Sean Paul, Spoon, Jelly Roll and Three 6 Mafia, all while giving rising artists and longtime favorites a place across the festival's many stages.

After three weekends and nine days of music, Summerfest 2026 came to a close having once again shown why Milwaukee's massive summertime tradition remains unlike almost anything else on the festival calendar.
