Imagine Dragons have returned after taking some time off.

Dan Reynolds and Co. on Friday released two new songs, "Follow You" and "Cutthroat," the former produced by Joel Little and the latter recorded with famed producer Rick Rubin at his own Shangri-La studio in Malibu.

The new music comes after a trying time for the band, who faced the loss of close friends and family along with other personal struggles. In fact, "Cutthroat" was written during a time when his marriage was falling apart and nearly resulted in divorce. That was all before the pandemic, which brought about its own additional challenges.

“It took walking away from everything to find a lot more clarity and happiness,” says Reynolds as the band prepares to release more new music.
