Emerging U.K. artist Cocoelusive sings about the complicated emotions of being in love with someone that she knows she shouldn’t on her newest single, "LoveJam," via DMY Artists. Throughout the track, she voices the conflicts between knowing what’s best for someone despite the heart wanting what it wants. Produced by Secret Stash., "LoveJam" is led with smooth R&B acoustics with laid-back grooves and magnetic melodies that finds a medium between traditional and modern R&B vibes.
With the release of “LoveJam”, Cocoelusive is in the process of finishing up her first EP project and has set no pressure or expectations in this process. She states, "It’s just about me going on a journey to find my sound and not only to connect my listeners but also to find new ways I can evolve as a creative. My plan is to eventually find a collective of producers with who I can work closely and pin down the true Cocoelusive sound. Urban music culture is only growing and although there are pros and cons to what messages are portrayed, I want to bring a storytelling spiritual approach to my projects and ensure the young generation are riding on the right frequency," Nance explains.
