Arlo Parks continues to shine with her new song "Caroline."

The new track arrived this week and it showcases the singer's undeniable vocal abilities, but it also puts on full display her songwriting and storytelling skills, as the song is written from the perspective of an onlooker observing a relationship falling apart in a matter of seconds.

"'Caroline' is an exercise in people watching and seeing situations unfold without context," says Parks. "It’s an exploration of how something once full of healthy passion can dissolve in an instant."

The new song is a preview of Parks' upcoming debut album Collapsed in Sunbeams, which is out Jan. 29 via Transgressive Records.
