Aaron Taos is getting ready to release a deluxe version of his debut album Birthday Boy, but first he's sharing a new song, which is included on the re-release.
Today, the Variance favorite debuted his new track "Summer's Gone," a gleaming new cut which features vocals from Alice Gray. The song is one of a handful of previously unreleased tracks which will appear on the deluxe album, which is out Nov. 20.
"'Summer's Gone' is an ode to summer love," says Taos. "It's a song about holding on to the last threads of sunlight and the memories of warm, careless romance. Even though the weather has changed, the feelings remain the same and fall festivities of apple picking, football games and hot cider are just a bittersweet reminder of the person you miss most."
