This week, up-and-comer Zachary Knowles dropped another standout in the form of his new single "super sad songs."

The anthemic cut arrived Friday, and it's a very relatable offering steeped in the familiar emotional struggles which most everyone experiences from time to time. It's his latest release via FADER Label, the home to the likes of Clairo, Matt and Kim, Lewis Del Mar and others.

The breezy new track follows his other recent releases "city" and "slow summer," in addition to his 2018 Feelings EP and his magnolia EP, released earlier this year.

The Magnolia, Texas native Knowles discovered his love of music at an early age, when his parents gifted him a light-up keyboard in first grade. "I started teaching myself songs on there, but I always kept it to myself," he recalls of his past, which evolved into a series of SoundCloud releases. "I fell in love with making music. I'd come home from school and write as much stuff as I could."
