In the middle of a crazy year, Canadian outfit ROMES has definitely been making the most of it with an influx of new music. Their latest new single "Lose My Cool" arrived on Thursday and it's a keeper.

Not only is the fizzy new track perfectly timed for this strange summer, but it's a collaboration with fellow alt-rock-pop extraordinaire Mark Foster of Foster the People, who co-wrote and co-produced the new song alongside the band's Jacob Bitove and Nick Bitove.

Back in April, in the middle of the ongoing health crisis, ROMES shared a note with fans informing them James Tebbitt and Andrew Keyes had left the band. "We truly wish them the best as they conquer the world in other walks of life," they said, noting they all first began making demos together at 11 years old. "We'll never lose the brotherhood that was created between us."

Not long after that bittersweet news, the now-duo revealed the start of a new chapter with plenty of new music on the way. They've spent much of the past two years working on what they believe is the "best collection of songs we've ever produced."

New songs "All Is Well," "Look What You've Done" and "Goosebumps" all arrived back in May and they had been teasing "Lose My Cool" for several weeks leading up to its arrival on Thursday.
