Norwegian daze-pop trio Great News over the weekend dropped their new song "Reality Show" and it's amazing.

The track starts out hazy and brooding, but quickly throws you for some twists and turns, leading to an immersive, incredible experience which is just too short even if it's a massive, surf-pop rock offering.

"It's that story about the guy who doesn’t foresee the impact joining a reality show has for his future," says frontman Even Kjelby, as if this audacious premise is somehow extremely common. "He’s also bitter because he realizes that the whole world watched him make all these bad decisions and that's what he’ll forever be known for—the dude who had sex on TV."

But with all that's going on in the world, that over-the-top narrative and these sunny kaleidoscopic vibes are certainly welcome. This is the latest preview of the trio's upcoming album Now and Them, which is out April 17.
