Brent Faiyaz has released a new album called Fuck the World, and that about sums it up. It's kind of spectacular.

As always, his tantalizing vocals take center stage—and we wouldn't have it any other way—but he finds himself pondering life and going deeper into bigger questions over the course of the crisp 10 tracks, which flow rather quickly, wrapping up in not even half an hour.

The new record follows Faiyaz's proper debut Sonder Son, which was a Variance favorite when it arrived back in 2017. And it's worth noting, that album also covered significant landscape, even touching into politics on one track referencing the current White House occupant.

Perhaps the fact that this album is so short is a blessing because it's so easily digestible.
