Laica is a new artist with her eyes on 2020 and based off her debut single, she's poised to have a breakout year.

The 20-year-old Abu Dhabi-born singer, who was raised in the Philippines and now lives in Los Angeles, on Tuesday released her first official single, a simmering cut titled "Nobody Else But You," which is a pure pop-R&B confection.

The glowing track is the latest release from tastemaker imprint Dreams Never Die, which has recently signed a handful of up-and-coming acts. "Nobody" is a preview of Laica's upcoming debut Forever EP, which will be released on Feb. 25.
