The Weeknd is officially back!

Abel Tesfaye dropped two new songs late Tuesday night, with "Heartless" arriving on digital platforms and another track called "Blinding Lights" playing tonight on Apple Music's Beats 1 radio show "MEMENTO MORI." 

He had teased new music earlier in the week and again on Tuesday, promising the song's arrival would launch the start of a "brain melting psychotic chapter." The music comes nearly exactly three years after his last full-length Starboy, which was followed by his six-song 2018 project My Dear Melancholy.

"The fall begins tomorrow," he had tweeted on Monday, suggesting this is indeed just the beginning of a new era and likely the first taste of a new record. As of this writing, "Blinding Lights" had not yet been released in an official format.
