Danger Mouse and The Shins' James Mercer are at it again. The two have shared a new song under their joint Broken Bells alias.

"Good Luck" arrived Friday, following last year's one-off track "Shelter." And this one is a sweltering cut, although hauntingly timely, as made clear from the very first lyrics of the song: "The face of evil's on the news tonight. We see the darkness over light. But have we ever really lived in better times?"

"We wanted to release 'Good Luck' while it felt timely and reflective of specific discussions between the two of us, questioning the state of things, as we do," the pair said of the new song's release.

They also confirmed that while they've constantly been busy between other projects, they are now finally writing and recording for their third Broken Bells album, which would be the followup to 2014's After the Disco.
