Massachusetts native Harris Mac is making quite an impression with his new single "Home."
The glitchy new cut arrived at the end of August, but it's caught our attention and it's definitely worth a listen. It apparently follows a busy past year in which the Brooklyn-based artist has been hard at work on new material.
"It’s about a relationship where your safe place of love and comfort burns to the ground," says Mac of the new song, who adds: "This is a 10-month project that really pushed me as a writer and producer."
Mac has previously collaborated with the likes of Cathedrals and Von Sell. He currently runs his own production operation of his Bushwick studio, with his own music drawing on inspiration from The Beatles to Kanye West to Radiohead.
If this vulnerable, kaleidoscopic new offering is any indication, we'll likely be hearing plenty more from Harris Mac.
