Joseph Lawrence & the Garden is back with a new song called "Celestial."
The hypnotic new track follows the London duo's standout debut single "Eclipse," which was released last summer and was instantly a Variance favorite. "Celestial" is out now via AWAL Recordings.
As we previously mentioned, the band is made up comprised of vocalist Joseph Lawrence and instrumentalist Gibbi, together drawing on influences from the likes of D'Angelo, Kendrick Lamar and James Blake.
"'Celestial' is the acceptance of separation and the ache of waiting, a nocturnal trip of desire, pain and satisfaction," says Lawrence of the new track.
For his part, Gibbi adds: "When you're working with artists, it's very easy to see them get brainwashed. But Joe never has. And it's because he's as stubborn as I am. We both just want to do this. We don't want to do anything else."
